A Little Info About Myself

My photo

I am a full-time Public Services Assistant at my local library, where I am the awesome, tattooed librarian of your dreams. I watch movies just about everyday with myself, as well as reading books and I love to formulate my own reviews and random thoughts on things. So I'll be writing them on here for all of you to read and help recommend movies and such for you to enjoy! And hell, maybe you'll even find some of this shit just fun to read. Probably not though!

The Superior Spider-Man, Vol. 1: My Own Worst Enemy
by Dan Slott
This is a Spider-Man series that requires a little bit of prior knowledge in the way of having read Spider-Man: Dying Wish to know what The Superior Spider-Man is all about. For those who haven't read it, and those who do not wish to kno...

Red Hood and the Outlaws, Vol. 2: The Starfire
by Scott Lobdell
Pretty good book. There was one small arc in the middle I wasn't a huge fan of, but the book end issues were great. Interested to see where this is going, and I love Starfire and Red Hood. I did not like the issues that are narrated by R...

Cable and X-Force, Vol. 1: Wanted
by Dennis Hopeless
This graphic novel was really poorly written. I could not for the life of me focus on the story and try to wrap my head around what was going on. I could only tell the basics from location and such, but the dialogue and interactions betw...
Captain America, Vol. 1: Castaway in Dimension Z

Captain America, Vol. 1: Castaway in Dimension Z
by Rick Remender
This is my first journey with a Captain America comic, but I have a feeling that this is okay with this Marvel NOW! series. I have to say that this is the boldest entry yet, as the story seems very atypical of Captain America but also fi...
Thor: God of Thunder, Vol. 1: The God Butcher

Thor: God of Thunder, Vol. 1: The God Butcher
by Jason Aaron
I wouldn't go as far as considering myself a big fan of Thor, but I did really like the film Thor that came out as part of Marvel's Phase One. I wasn't extremely excited to see the film even though I knew that it had to be good because M...
